Thank you very much for visiting our homepage "Association of Korea-USA Friendship Alliance" (being called "KUFA")
At the time of the sudden end of World War II, our Korean peninsula has been in chaos, divided by two ideological group-free democracy and communism and it resulted in the Korean War after enjoying three(5) years independence from Japanese colony.
In this Korean War, we were able to keep our free democracy from the communist invasion with the help of USA, but at cost of many lives of young USA and Korean soldiers sacrificed on the battle fields on this peninsula.
The two nations have tried their best efforts to share the sorrow and pain of loss with the families of the Korean War victims.
Under the Korea-USA Alliance Treatment, tremendous aid has been given to save Koreans from hunger and to rebuild a new Korea. In favour of this USA aid and diligent Koreans' blood, sweat and tears, the present Korea has become the world's 10th largest economy with a per capita income of $ 30,000.
But it has become a fact that the close Friendship Alliance relationship has become loose for the last several years. As a Chairman of the Korea-USA Friendship Alliance Association, I promise with all the members and Korean people that we will do our best efforts to strengthen our Friendship Alliance on the non-government level.
The alliance between the two countries has a close relationship with the security of the Korean peninsula and International order. We have continued our efforts to keep a close friendship relation with 8th USA Army and government organizations in USA. Through non-government diplomatic activities, this Association will develop new friendship projects for the mutual understandings on present issues in both countries. From Korea and USA, many different professionals have been gathered to research together to find solutions for any conflict in security and diplomacy between two countries.
To keep the friendly relationship in the Korea-USA alliance, I really appreciate the family of our Association as a second position diplomat have done our best to propose a new vision on the non-government area, which the government could not do. This Association is a non-government group to work for the future of the nation and the people, and not for personal benefit. We, the Association of Korea-USA Friendship Alliance, promise with you to do the important role to keep a better friendly relations between Korea and USA, and to contribute to World Peaee.
